When choosing briefs or Brazilian briefs, sooner or later we reach one question: cotton, microfibre or lace? The truth is we don't need to choose just one. The three fabrics are different — with different qualities and advantages, suitable for different moments. We know them well, because we use all three in our production. In this article we share when each fabric is the best choice.
Cotton — the Natural Choice for Everyday Wear
Cotton is the fabric with which the history of underwear begins (excluding fig leaves and leather loincloths) — and for good reason. Natural, breathable and soft to the touch, it is the most popular choice for everyday wear, especially for sensitive skin. Cotton fibres allow the skin to breathe, making it suitable for wear in every season.
Quality cotton briefs and cotton Brazilian briefs contain elastane — usually between 5 and 10% — which allows them to stretch and retain their original shape. Cotton without elastane loses its shape quickly and is not suitable for underwear.

Microfibre — Invisible Under Clothes

Made from polyamide and elastane, quality microfibre does not cause static, does not retain moisture and holds its shape after repeated washing.

Important: microfibre must be made from polyamide, not polyester. Polyester retains heat and moisture, irritates the skin and is not suitable for underwear.

Lace — When Comfort Meets Luxury
Lace is the fabric of luxury lingerie. Where cotton provides comfort and microfibre provides smoothness and invisibility, lace adds a third element: the feeling of a special moment even in everyday life.
Quality modern elastic lace is polyamide-based — soft, flexible and comfortable to wear. It does not irritate the skin and holds its shape after washing, unlike cheaper alternatives which unravel after the first few washes. When to choose lace
For special occasions, romantic evenings or when we want to feel special for no particular reason. Quality lace is comfortable even with all-day wear — as long as the size is right.
